[ Eiden guesses right; Eren isn't exactly a highly social person. He appreciates the low key kind of date. Eren dresses pretty much the same as always, t-shirt and black jeans. Sure, it's a beach, but he doesn't really wear shorts unless they're actually swimming.
He likes the beach, though. It doesn't have the same treacherous connotation here that it would at home. Here, he can enjoy it. Sure, he still sees that ocean of blood superimposed, thanks to his memories, but he's had more than two years to get used to Ellipsa. ]
