[ He sways back and forth on his heels as he patiently waits for Eiden to answer, like an eager puppy. No need for a doorbell when you have an e-droid announcing himself in the way he usually does. He's excited, so excited that it's his darling's birthday.
Although to Blade, every day is darling's day. But for today, he's specifically put something together that he really, really hopes that Eiden will like. ]
[ Eiden is, at least, not working on his birthday. It's not a treat he used to give himself, but he can while he's here so he will. He hears that tell-tale voice through the door after the knock and knows Blade's there waiting for him. He opens the door for the e-droid. He's dressed comfortably in a pair of jeans and a plain black t-shirt. ]
[ Blade smiles like Eiden just asked him the greatest question of all time. ] I'm doing great, darling~ [ It's no surprise that the e-droid's smile is a beaming one. The sun truly hasn't risen until Blade gets to see Eiden's cute cute cute face. He happily skips in, cheeks flushed at the words he's prepared. ]
I know that we're from different times, but no matter what time or world we're in, it doesn't change the fact that you're still the same important darling to me. [ He doesn't know why he didn't expect a birthday gift. It's just not something he used to get back before the whole world hopping thing started. It's nice to know that Blade was thinking of him when he put something together for him.
So he'll take the time to open it up the moment he can - leading Blade to the living room space to do so. He's careful even as he undoes the ribbon and sets it to the side before pulling the surprise out of the box.
It's very cute and very Blade. He can see the love that went into making it. ]
